HAVAN, in collaboration with Building Knowledge Canada, will deliver a half‑day Local Energy Efficiency Partnerships (LEEP) training session focused on Walls.

Who is this for?
Builders, renovators, architects, building officials and engineering service companies are invited to hear best practices to meet the changing codes with available technologies and products with industry subject matter experts.

Learning outcomes:

• New wall construction and retrofit solutions, framing options, insulation materials, air barrier solutions, water management solutions
• Best practices to meet the changing codes with available technologies and products with industry subject matter experts
• Building science design principles for constructing good walls and address potential warranty risks
• Discover turn-key solutions that meet codes and voluntary programs

Speaker: Mark Rosen


Mark is a professional architect, Master Energy Advisor and Director of Building Science with Building Knowledge Canada.
Mark has always been passionate about creating buildings that perform exceptionally well. Mark started as a site inspector at Building Energy Inc. in 2008 and became its owner in 2011. He has helped develop software tools, sits on several advisory boards, and continues to actively lead the industry toward positive change. Mark was named Ontario’s Energy Advisor of the Year in 2013 and 2018.
