CONNECT Municipal Dinner sells out each year. This premier HAVAN event brings together elected municipal officials and the Metro Vancouver homebuilding industry, providing opportunities to network, and generate conversation and collaboration. The speaker is typically one of the region’s influential elected leaders, such as Ken Sim, Mayor of the City of Vancouver (2022), and Burnaby  Mayor Mike Hurley (2021). 

The CONNECT Municipal Dinner is hosted by HAVAN’s Government Relations Committee, providing a unique opportunity to connect with Mayors, Councillors, and other VIPs from across the region. The business program offers attendees insight into the keynote speaker's municipality’s current efforts and future goals, as well as their perspective on housing growth in their respective jurisdictions.
