HAVAN’s Legends of Housing is a premier annual dinner spotlighting leaders who have shaped Metro Vancouver’s residential construction industry. The 2026 theme, Legends of Housing: The Changemakers, highlights influential figures working behind the scenes in support of homebuilders, renovators, suppliers, and the broader housing sector.

This year’s program features a candid, moderated conversation with industry leaders Ben Taddei, Partner and CEO of Conwest Developments, and Gary Pooni, President and CEO of The Pooni Group, moderated by Scott Brown, CEO of Gandalf Holdings Ltd. Together, they will share insights on the current marketplace and the strategies needed to address today’s market challenges. Drawing on decades of leadership across development, planning, marketing, and governance, attendees will hear firsthand perspectives on decision-making, market cycles, and the forces shaping housing delivery across the region.

Hosted by HAVAN’s Government Relations Committee, Legends of Housing: The Changemakers brings together more than 250 guests, including C-suite and senior executives, elected officials, industry leaders, developers, builders, and HAVAN members. The evening offers thoughtful discussion, meaningful connection, and practical insight from leaders who continue to influence the industry.

Legends of Housing sells out each year. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
